Meet Our Leaders
Staff, Elders, Trustees, Safeguarding Leads
The church is like a body - made up of many parts, each one valuable to the whole. Every member of Emmanuel is involved in helping this body to grow. Some have specific roles to equip and serve the church through leading in different ways:
Elders
Elders are recognized by the members of Emmanuel as spiritual leaders, qualified to teach, pray for the congregation, and oversee the church's ministry. They share in this task together.
Staff
Nigel serves as our full-time Pastor. Caroline is our part-time Women’s Worker.
Trustees
The trustees are made up of all the elders of the church, as well as a number of other church members. The non-elder trustees are:
Safeguarding
Michelle serves as our Designated Safeguarding Lead, and Nigel is the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
