John Tindall is a Mancunian. The husband of Pauline, father of Mike, Gareth and Joanna and grandfather to 12. He became a Christian at the age of 17 through the work of the Boy's Brigade. It was at a BB weekend conference that he realised that his life was displeasing to God and that he needed to trust Jesus Christ for forgiveness and new life.
He was once disciplined at school for putting a severed cow's ear in a girl's locker which brought on a fainting fit!
He left his first job at a bank clerks at the age of 21 to train for the Christian ministry. He has served in a number of churches in different parts of the country and is now semi-retired and living locally.
